Frequently Asked Questions
Once the chargers are installed, are there any costs for me to pay?
No. We cover all costs for supplying, installing, operating, and maintaining the chargers. Once the income generated has repaid the installation costs, we will begin paying you a share of any ongoing profit. We retain ownership of the chargers and are fully responsible for their operation and upkeep.

Do I own the chargers?
No. We own the charger units, which means we remain responsible for their performance, maintenance, and any future upgrades.

What charging speed do the chargers provide?
Ideally, your site will have a three-phase power supply. This allows each charger to operate at up to 24kW, which is ideal for top-up charging.

What if I don’t have a three-phase power supply?
This scheme may not be suitable without three-phase power, but we can assess your electrical system and advise on the best options for your site.

Will we lose power during installation?
As part of the initial site survey, one of our qualified electricians will assess your existing electrical system and identify any work required. They will also explain if and when power needs to be temporarily switched off. Where possible, work will be scheduled during evenings or weekends to minimise disruption.
I only want one charger — will this scheme work for me?
Possibly not. To make the scheme viable, we normally install a minimum of four chargers. However, we’re happy to carry out a site survey and explore what options may work for you.

Do we get to choose where the chargers are located?
Yes. We will recommend the most suitable locations, but all positioning and any site layout changes will be agreed with you in advance. Nothing is installed without your approval.

Our site requires operatives to hold CSCS cards — can you provide this?
Yes. All installers are fully qualified and we will provide RAMS and operative certification before work begins.

Do you pay us for the electricity used before profit sharing starts?
Yes. Our system accurately measures all electricity used by the chargers, and we reimburse you for this from day one. We’ll simply need a copy of your current electricity tariff.

How long will it take before the chargers start generating income for us?
Every installation is different. We are fully transparent about installation costs and will provide you with a monthly statement showing charger revenue and the projected time until profit sharing begins.

Can we pay for the installation ourselves and keep all the income?
Yes. We offer a range of installation options, including fully self-funded packages that allow you to retain 100% of the revenue generated. All costs are transparent, and we’ll help you choose the best option for your business.
Our site is closed during the day but used by sports clubs in the evening — can we restrict charger access?

Yes. Our smart charging system allows you to control when chargers are available to the public, so you can match access to your site’s operating hours.
